You didn’t teach them
It is your responsibility to train a puppy to behave properly in the home. As your puppy grew, ask yourself if you taught him what to chew on and what not.
You may have failed to take these steps, which could explain why it continues to chew, even when older.
Separation Anxiety
Some dog breeds can become very attached to their owner and family members.
Separation anxiety can occur if they are left alone too long. They may chew on small objects in your house to relax. Shoes, handbags and pillows are all examples.
