1. Prevents Snoring
Left-sided sleeping can make a huge difference to your happiness. This won’t solve all the causes of snoring. It does, however, keep your throat and tongue in a neutral position. This leaves the airways open.
During sleep, the tongue, mouth and throat relax. The worst position for snorers is to sleep on their backs, as the tissues can relax and partially block the airway. The vibration that is caused by air being pulled through the crowded space causes snoring.
