9. Night Sweats
A common symptom, night sweats are often accompanied by a fever and chills. Like a fever it can be an indication of a temporary condition such as the flu, or something more serious like bacterial vaginitis.
You should see your doctor if you have a fever or sweating during the night. This can indicate an infection that is more advanced, or one that has spread to other parts of the body. It may be too late to treat it at home.
If you have a fever, paracetamol may help to bring it under control. However, if the fever continues and home remedies do not work, go straight to the emergency room.
