6. Menstrual Cycle Changes
Women have a pretty good idea of how their monthly menstrual cycle will be. They know what to expect in terms of intensity, for example, and when they don’t get it, or if it’s not there at all, it’s a sign of something being wrong.
Menstrual cycles can be affected by other factors than pregnancy. Stress, certain medications, drastic weight changes, and other physical conditions can cause a menstrual cycle to be more intense or absent.
When your flow is heavier or lighter than usual, this can be a sign that something’s wrong with the body. When combined with other symptoms such as vaginal drainage and an unpleasant smell, it is more likely that bacterial vaginosis.
