5. Vaginal Itching
The persistent feeling of itchand discomfort can be one the first signs to alert the body of a possible problem.
Everyone experiences this symptom. It is likely that other symptoms will accompany it. These include an unpleasant discharge or odor. Both of these symptoms can indicate that you have contracted bacterial vaginitis in the days prior. This may be the first sign you notice, or it could be a few days to weeks before.
The itch is only made worse by scratching it. A bacterial infection will not go away until the right treatment has been given.
