13. Reporting STIs by Partners
If you or any of your sexual partners have reported any of these symptoms, it is important that you get tested for bacterial vaginitis and other conditions which might be causing it. This will automatically increase your risk.
It doesn’t matter if you show symptoms or not. Many cases of bacterial vaginitis are asymptomatic, or have only a few signs. You should still consult your doctor even if you do not have any symptoms.
Men may be carriers and spreaders of bacterial vaginitis, even if they don’t show symptoms. If you experience any symptoms, let your partners know.
