12. A Burning Feeling
Itching, discharge, odor and bacterial vaginosis are not the only symptoms to be aware of. You may also feel a burning sensation, but only after urinating or after having sex. These symptoms can all be signs of bacterial vaginosis.
Burning sensations in the vagina may also indicate other infections and conditions, some of which are sexually transmitted. Others can be as common as bladder or urinary system infections that most people experience during their lifetime.
If you have this symptom, but are not sure what it is caused by, you should consult your doctor right away. An early diagnosis will determine how quickly and effectively the condition can be treated. Untreated infections that last for a long time put others at risk and may cause permanent damage to you.
