7. Glandular Fever
A virus called glandular fever is fairly common. A person can experience a sore neck, swollen lymph glands and a high fever. People who suffer from glandular fever are also very tired. This virus is most commonly found in teens and young adults.
Symptoms usually disappear in four to six week. This virus can cause fatigue to last several months. You should visit your doctor if you experience the symptoms of glandular disease.
Other viruses and bacteria can also cause similar symptoms. It is therefore important to discuss your symptoms with your doctor in order to get an accurate diagnosis. Rest and keeping hydrated are usually recommended until symptoms subside.
