What Are Lady Drinks?
The majority of bars who employ bargirls have a commission system on drinks. These drinks are called “lady’s drinks”. The bar will give a commission to the bar girl when you purchase a drink for her.
It is not necessary to buy her a drink if she sits with you and entertains you. This also shows her employer that she’s doing a great job, since you are spending more money on alcohol.
Remember that lady drinks are usually more expensive than regular drinks. It’s certainly true in go-go clubs, to which we will return in a minute.
This commission structure was created because most bars only pay the minimum wage to their girls. The drink commission is then added on top of that, similar to tipping in a restaurant.
Some bars do not pay any basic wages at all. The girl is just a member of the bar and permitted to practice her “trade” in the bar.
The girl’s job is to make punters drink more. She will also try to get him drunk and into her honeytrap.
A few drinks for a lady is a nice commission if a punter does not end up taking her home. As they say, time is money.
