John works with other organizations as well. He gathered the European Space Agency, the International Asteroid Warning Network and other organizations in 2019 to brainstorm ways to deal with a potential space rock collision. This threat, in his view, was far greater than any one nation. It was a problem of global proportions that required a global response. He was confident that together they could come up with new solutions.
