Raikoke Volcano
Raikoke Volcano lies on Kuri Island, just off the coast of Japan. Volcanic eruptions are capable of causing great devastation but the island is uninhabited. The eruption did not cause any property damage, injuries, or deaths. It wasn’t its first eruption. Raikoke Volcano first erupted in 1778, and again in 1924.
