The Monsoon Season in Thailand
The astronauts took pictures from above of areas where the Mekong river flooded. The monsoon storms were responsible for the flooding. They used the photos to aid the people of Earth in identifying the areas most affected and where rescuers were needed. Even in space, crew members were able to help those who suffered below. The next image, however, left the scientists in awe.
