Chocolate lovers, we have good news! Did you know that this delicious treat can also help reduce the risk of stroke and heart disease? Harvard researchers found that those who consumed raw cocoa regularly showed no signs of hypertension, and their blood pressure actually decreased! Dark chocolate contains an antioxidant called flavnols. Eating a small amount of dark chocolate regularly can lower blood pressure, and reduce the risk of heart disease. This does not refer to sugary candy bars but rather high-content cocoa. Dark chocolate can still contain high levels of sugar which is the opposite of our goal!
