They became more sympathetic to the dog’s situation and were eager to help. Patrick and Austin were aware that they needed to act quickly to protect the dog’s well-being and safety.
They approached the situation with more delicacy, given the dog’s apparent status as a house pet. Priority was given to rescuing and returning the dog to its owner, if at all possible. They tried to gain trust of the dog by speaking softly, while also trying to find any possible identification tags or tags.
