7. Increased Anxiety & Mood Alterations
Women who are experiencing menopause report feeling upset about things they would never have been affected by in the past. It can manifest as sadness, depression, tears and other emotions that are not explained.
This increased anxiety, and mood changes could be due to other factors. However, it’s often the result of the hormonal changes associated with menopause. These unusual feelings are often more intense for women who experience early menopause than women who go through menopause around the age of 51.
