Exercise can help relieve severe menstrual cramps. It is possible, however, that the fatigue you experience during your period will stop you from working out. Even if you don’t believe in exercising during periods, the fact that doing light core exercises can reduce pain should motivate you to start.
You don’t even need to go to the gymnasium to learn these exercise, especially in this age of internet and good workout videos. You can do some exercises to strengthen your core by lying on your stomach with your knees bent, and taking deep breathes. Yoga is a great way to get your energy up.
