63. Grady Orders a Dispersal
“I am Sheriff Grady Roberts and I have ordered the dispersal of these events. It has become a danger to public safety. You are all ordered to leave. Anyone who does not leave will be charged for obstruction. “Am I clear?”

No response was received. Roland softly said, “It’s a nice attempt, Sheriff.”
Roland looked up. Grady was surprised to see a new watch on his arm. It had dials and numbers that Grady hadn’t seen before.
64. Grady Falls
Grady, it’s almost that time,” Roland said.
He stepped up and, with an aggressive shove, knocked Grady from the stage. Grady fell flat on his back and lost all of his wind. As nausea swirled, Grady stared at the sky to catch his breathe. He thought that he had broken a rib or two. As the wind picked up, a sharp pain pierced his side.

Grady began to lose consciousness and had one last thought before he went black. Since Roland arrived, it hasn’t rain.
