Sarapatera de Tortuga (Peru)
You must be curious and familiar with the most popular dishes of the Peruvian Amazon. The asopado is made from turtle.
The preparation of this soup is difficult because it is cooked in the animal’s shell and using firewood. To give the soup a sweeter taste, the turtle is chopped into small pieces. Seasonings, grated banana and salt are also added.
