In 2022, the possible retirement of “Gronk”, has been a hot topic. Even Rob Gronkowski’s girlfriend wants him to keep playing! Whatever happens, there’s no doubt that this Amherst native, who is from New York, has already become an NFL legend. He holds four Super Bowl titles and was named 2014 Comeback Player Of The Year.
Gronkowski, who has a reported net-worth of $45million and a list of ex-salaries that can reach up to $9million annually, loves to spend money on luxurious residences. Gronkowski, who owns a $1.7m Miami pad, paid $7m for a Hudson Yards home in 2021.
MICHAEL STRAHAN: $65 Million
Michael Strahan was a defensive lineman who helped the New York Giants win the Super Bowl. He later made the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team. Strahan earned a fortune in the NFL but he continued to earn millions even after retiring.
He decided to leave the field in 2007, and became a TV personality/sports analyst. It looks like he was made for the small screen. He will be featured in 2022 episodes “Fox NFL Sunday”, “NFL on FOX” and will receive an annual salary $17 million for his work as a sports broadcaster.
