4. Replace your brush regularly
You will notice that your toothbrush becomes worn out if you brush as frequently as you should. It is important to replace it every now and then. It is vital that your toothbrush be in good shape so it can do its job. The bristles will become bent over time and lose their rigidity. This will make your toothbrush less effective at removing bacteria and food from your mouth.
After a few uses, the bacteria in your brush will multiply and grow. Even though there are brushes that are antibacterial you should still change them every now and then. Replace your brush every two to three months if it is not in good condition.
