3. Use mouthwash
Mouthwashes are a wonderful complement to your routine of brushing and flossing. Mouthwash comes in many different types. Use your mouthwash twice daily. Mouthwash can help to kill bacteria, and therefore reduce bad breath. They are available over the counter, and come in a variety of presentations. Some are designed specifically for bad breath.
You should rinse your mouth at least 30 seconds each time to let the antibacterialproperties in your mouthwash work and kill the microorganisms contributing to bad breath. Mouthwash can be used to clean all parts of the mouth including between teeth and areas that are harder to reach like under the tongue and behind the palate.
