9. Guilt
In Bipolar, excessive and inappropriate guilt can be a major component. Hyper-religiosity can be a symptom of this symptom, but that does not mean it has to. It can appear as if the individual is constantly down on themselves for even small things like bumping into someone or anything they consider unworthy.
This snowball effect can lead to depression and even worse, putting the person in the darkest state. Sometimes, this state is a cry for help, and can only be treated with medication, such as antidepressants or anti-anxiety medications. This can be cured with daily inspiration, affirmations of positivity, and long-term social support. Continue to work! Keep at it!
