The extreme goal-oriented activitiesof these individuals may be a result of their disconnectedness with other people or from the nature of being human. (More likely, the former )…the interconnectedness). It may be that others are unable to remain near them due to their extremeness, and even psychologically.
This goal-driven behavior can be characterized by an individual performing all sorts of tasks that may or not have any impact on those around them (especially in terms of emotion or sentiment). If you have a breakdown over the grout on the floor tiles, but no one else is interested, then this could be a sign of goal-driven activity. The shift from a logical to a psychomotor state can also appear as if the individual is agitated, but not in a logical manner.
