Refined Grains
Refined grain includes white flour and rice. They cause blood sugar levels to spike, increasing inflammation markers. Wheat products can also cause joint pain if you’re gluten-sensitive. Gluten may cause rashes, headaches, fatigue, or joint pain if you eat wheat.
The body can easily digest refined grains, which are similar to sugar. Anything made with white flour should be avoided. Eating whole grains reduces inflammation. Therefore, it is important to replace refined grains with whole grains.
