7. Oregano Tea
Oregano can be used to add flavor to a variety of dishes. This herb contains many antiviral, antibacterial, and antioxidant components. Oregano is believed to help reduce fevers. Oregano inhibits the growth of microorganisms which are causing the fever. Making a tea from oregano is one way to use it as a home remedy to treat a fever.
You can drink this tea regularly whenever you feel a flu. For the tea, you’ll need a tablespoon oregano crushed, half a cup orange juice and a glass water. Oregano is boiled in water for five minutes. Add the orange juice after it’s boiled. Mix it all up. This concoction should be consumed at least one time per day in order to reduce the duration of a fever.
