9. Costochondritis
This is a type of arthritis that affects the area between the breastbone and the ribs. The condition does not affect the breasts directly, but it can cause a burning sensation in the area underneath.
It is often mistaken as breast pain.
This type of arthritis is most common in older adults, and it may be associated with poor posture. It may therefore be linked indirectly to larger breasts if they cause poor posture or stooping.
