9. Yellow Discharge
Women who see that their vaginal discharge has a yellow color may be a little alarmed. It is particularly true if the woman does not usually experience a discharge of this color or type. A yellow discharge is usually harmless. In some cases, a yellow discharge can be a sign of a sexually-transmitted infection. Yellow discharge could be a sign of infection but does not mean there is something wrong.
It is probably fine if the discharge is odorless and pale. If you experience painful urination or itching and your discharge smells bad, you may have an infection. Both Chlamydia or trichomoniasis can cause a yellowish discharge as well as other symptoms. Both infections are treatable, but they need to be treated quickly.
